This complete, 100% original, Vintage Corgi Juniors 1978 Hot Rodder with the “Double 5 Spoke” wheels was made in 1978 and discontinued in 1978. It features a bright yellow or cyan paint job with a red, white and blue stickers on each side. The white enamel undercarriage continues along the length of the car and is molded to create a very thin front bumper in addition to two transmission details at the back of the vehicle. It also sports a chrome engine in the rear, a chrome interior and a yellow tinted windscreen. The chrome on the “Double 5 Spoke” Wheels is in vintage excellent condition and it rolls like it just came out of the box. The chrome engine and interior are very clean, the yellow tinted windscreen is also very clean. It was manufactured in Great Britain and has only had one owner. This 1978 Hot Rodder is in in Vintage very good condition. After examining it under a high powered light with a magnifying glass I was able to discern the following flaws. There is a 2mm scratch along the bottom edge of the side panel on the driver’s right. The sticker on the right side was originally placed a little off center, so the front edge has pulled away from the chassis a little bit, causing a crease in the sticker; still, the sticker is in tact. The front end has 3 micro dots of chipping along the edge The sticker on the driver’s left side has a micro dog ear that has caused it to lose a tiny bit of color. There is a micro chip next to the left rear wheel well. There is chipping along the edge of the wing in the rear. There are 4 micro chips in the enamel on the top, three at the rear near the engine and one in the center of the front end near the cockpit. Please look over the photos carefully to determine the condition for yourself. I would be happy to combine shipping on this item if you decide to purchase any of my other items for sale.
