Three Vintage Pinewood Derby Race Cars / Racers with Stand

This is Three Vintage Pinewood Derby Race Cars Mounted on a Wooden Stand. The cars are an estate item and we do not know specifically when they were made. I thought these were probably associated with the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby, perhaps cars entered one per year by the same Scout, but there are no specific markings on the cars or base identifying the cars as being Cub Scout cars. The cars are screwed to the wooden base through countersunk holes below, and I am opting not to try to remove the cars to examine the bottoms for marks. The cars vary between 6 1/2″ and 7″ long. The cars appear to be generally consistent with what I read about Pinewood Derby cars, except: the red car in the center has a curved steel bar at the back providing additional weight The orange car has some metal, possibly lead, in the cockpit, sealed in place with sealing wax or similar. The cars are mounted with wood screws on a stained and finished pine plaque with routed / beveled edges that appears to be the type of plaque that could be purchased in a hobby shop, craft store, or similar venue. Condition: The cars and plaque are generally in very good used condition. I noted the following minor condition issues: The red and orange cars each have a couple of paint scrapes on the front of the body as seen, possibly the result of collisions The number on the red car is a strip of paper tape or similar. I do not know if it would come off easily or not, if you wanted to remove it. The orange car has some smudges of a darker color on both sides, possibly due to handling while the paint was still wet The cars are offered as found / as seen / as described.
