Very nice set of bongos with tight, intact tunable skins. A little fading of the logo is evident, as are a few minor scuffs and scratches from normal, conscientious use. An impressive level of care and craftsmanship is evident in the production of this Schalloch Wood Bongo Set. The heads measure 6 1/2″ and 7 1/2″ of playable surface (6 3/4″ and 7 3/4″ edge-to-edge) with hand-selected buffalo skin heads, 8mm tuning lugs, Siam oak shells, black hardware, and rounded rims for playing comfort. Interior backing plates for strength.
