Some cars, such as Tamiya, require the use of a Metric rather than a standard pinion gear. If you try to use a standard pinion gear in a car with metric gear, you will chew up your gears quickly. This gear is commonly used in 1/10th scale vehicles. This item is brand new, sealed in the factory packing, with full manufacturer’s warranty.
