REPLACEMENT DRIVE BELT FOR CUTAWL MACHINES; K-11, K-12, K-16 ONLY. This is my standard replacement drive belt for the Cutawl K-11, K-12, and K-16 machines I recondition. The belt will provide you with just the same performance as the overpriced yellow drive belts, or the synthetic clear “jelly” ones that burn out quickly. Start installing the belt on the small motor pully first, and then roll the belt up and over the large drive pully. Set the idler tension wheel to put some tension on the belt. Different Cutawl units have idler wheels that sit inside or outside of the belt loop. Just set the idler wheel to press the belt somewhat. You should expect the belt to fit quite tightly, holding the tension idler arm nearly straight until the belt wears in a bit. I use these on my personal Cutawl machines, and have cut some very tough sheet goods without any problems. It takes a tough belt to drive a #44HDL blade through hard maple or pine boards. Look for my Cutawl products that I will list from time to time. I will be listing some more reconditioned Cutawl units from time to time (as I get time to work on them).
