Up for sale is an amazing EchoMRI 4-in-1-500 Small Animal, Organ & Biopsy Body Composition Analyzer & Accessories. It was installed in 2013 and has little use. The 500 in the model means it has the standard rat bore as well as mouse, organ and biopsy bores. The system boots up normally (Windows XP Pro SP2), but that was the extent of our testing. This Echo MRI unit is extremely complete and would cost 0,000 if purchased today! Study the photos and you will find QC probes and sample holders for all 4 bores. Keys for all panels, drawers and computer. Software CD, keyboard, mouse, power cords. Unit is clean inside and out. Again, study the photos. Unit was retired from a lab that was eliminated at a major pharmaceutical company (I have disinfectant cleaning tag if you need it). The unit has been sitting unused for years. With that all said, expect the system to need some setup, QC and testing as well as upgrades to function as new. We contemplated swapping in a more modern computer motherboard and upgrading the OS to Windows 10 (clone the hard drive first!), but it makes more sense to fully test it before upgrading. Again, expect to spend some money to get this system back up to speed. Ask lots of questions as I really cannot accept a return on something like this.

These usually ship with the magnets removed. We can remove them at your request. Or, we have had great success internally strapping the magnets to the frame for shipment. The plastic straps do not affect the magnet as these systems are well shielded.
White glove, door-to-door moving is an excellent choice. Or, we will palletize and ship for 0 to a business with a dock. Residential and liftgate deliveries are extra. Contact me for local delivery or pickup.

The EchoMRI™ 4in1-500, EchoMRI™ 4in1-700, EchoMRI™ 4in1-900, and EchoMRI™ 4in1-1100 Analyzers deliver precise body composition measurements of fat, lean, free water, and total water masses.
A special benefit to researchers is that, in addition to the horizontal bore for live animals up to Rat size (500, 700, 900, or 1100 grams), it also has 3 vertical bores, one for live animals up to Mouse size (100 grams), one for organs or Tissue samples of up to 7 grams. and one for Biopsy samples of up to 0.3 grams.
Scanning takes 0.5 – 3.2 minutes, depending on the precision options.
The live animals need no anesthesia and no special preparation before measurement.
EchoMRI™ Analyzers are exceedingly easy to operate. A training period of one hour is sufficient for individuals without prior knowledge.
Numeric results are stored and can be viewed again later at any time, as well as extracted either into Excel and ASCII files or into Access database.
The EchoMRI™ 4in1-500, 700, 900, and 1100 Analyzers are stand-alone units, on 6 casters for easy relocation. They use standard power sources, and are completely shielded and safe to run.

Shielding of Vertical Part:
