This is an ORIGINAL advertising pencil for the “Montagu Motor Museum” (renamed the “National Motor Museum” in July 1972. It dates, I think to the 1960s (possibly very early 1970s) and has illustrations of various different racing cars that could be seen at the museum. The pencil has a round shape. It measures 0.7cm in diameter at the flat end and is 17.4cm in length. Has not been used very much. An interesting piece of local or advertising memorabilia. The item is in a good condition overall. Two dents about 1cm from flat end. Some other tiny, light dents close to flat end. Several very small rubs to car images, some light rubbing to lettering. Some light grubbiness, and some very small and tiny dark marks to pencil. I can see no other obvious signs of damage. Please check scans carefully as they help with the condition too. Please note that because of packaging laws in Germany and France requiring businesses to pay a subscription, I do not currently send items to these countries. If you are based in Germany or France please do not purchase unless you have an address outside those countries to which the item can be sent. Please note surface mail or first class inland mail options are always available, please ask for a quote. I always refund any excess postage charges. I try to be accurate with my descriptions but if you have any questions please contact me. Take a look at my other auctions and ebay shop items for more collectables.
