For sale is a Nintendo Game Boy Advance GBA model AGB-001, that has had everything around the original motherboard replaced with brand new parts from HISPEEDIDO and Handheld Legend, the list of new parts is as follows- -IPS V5 black bezel backlit IPS laminated screen -Translucent purple shell with Gengar UV print designed to use with the above screen for a perfect fit -USB-C lithium-ion rechargeable battery with matching white battery cover with the USB-C port cut out so you don’t need to take the cover off to charge -Clear buttons -Clear button pads -Upgraded clear speaker with audio amplifier installed, which results in not only clearer but louder sound. Combined with the new capacitors installed, the sound is louder than new, but just as clear and free of static noise. -Handheld Legend RGB button LED’s The GBA works perfectly, and the motherboard was refurbished to like new condition with the capacitors being replaced with high quality caps from Console5, all around motherboard cleaning, and disassembly and cleaning the internals of the power switch so it functions like new and provides consistent and reliable power to the console. Too many sellers just slap new parts on these 20+ year old game boys and don’t give the motherboard the attention it deserves for the future, this GBA has the extra time and parts cost invested to refurbish the motherboard to ensure perfect functionality for many years to come. To adjust the screen, use the select, L, and R buttons as follows (I recommend adjusting the screen without a game inserted so that you aren’t pressing buttons in game)- -Press the Select+L+R buttons for 1 second at the same time, then release the buttons to activate the OSD Menu. -Press the Select button to select the adjustment item when OSD Menu activated. -Press the L or R button to adjust the item when OSD Menu activated. (Note that I have the touch sensors turned off in the menu, but they are attached to the top and bottom of the shell if you wish to use those to control the screen brightness and color) The button LEDs can also be configured, HHL has a video explaining it that I will send you. Listing includes the console along with a reproduction copy of Pokemon Emerald and a shell sticker set as free gifts. No cable or charger included. Works with any standard USB-C cable and charger. Please do not charge and play the GBA at the same time to avoid any battery or overheating issues, I recommend only charging the battery while the console is powered off. When both the red and blue LED’s are on the battery is charging, and once only the blue LED is on the battery is fully charged.
