This One of a Kind – “ART IN CLAY” WHIMSICAL 1952 FERRARI INDY RACER was made by “CARTOONS BY BOOTH” in 1990. The 11.75-inch long car (made of clay) was kiln fired 3 times, glazed and painted with oil or water base paints. The car sits on a clay brick-like base, which is mounted on a 13.5-inch long wooden base. The Ferrari Indy 500 Race Car – driven by Ascari – is virtually mint, except the left front brake line is broken (parts included). These cars are one of a kind because you could pick which car you wanted (convertible or closed), then add a driver (inside or outside of the car), passenger, dog, extra chrome (yellow or white gold), a wooden base, or wall mounted. I have included a 2006 and a current price list. This is a really fun “Art in Clay” 1952 Ferrari Indy Racer.
